Microsoft has just released RC version of the upcoming Windows 7 SP1. The version, windows6.1-KB976932, has been officially released and this may have been done because of the innumerable leaks on the web.

The Windows 7 Service Pack 1 will provide several enhancements to Windows 7 including Remote FX, Dynamic memory and many incremental updates to the platform. It includes previous updates delivered over Windows Update as well as continuing incremental updates to the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 platforms.
The size of Windows 7 SP1 RC is around 514.7MB for x86 build & 865.4MB for x64 build. That’s a biggie!

Windows 7 SP1 RC can be downloaded and installed if you have genuine Windows 7 & same will be available via windows updates once Microsoft releases final version to public which is expected soon.
Remember, this is not the final version of SP1, so proceed at your own risk.
